Ipswich, Massachusetts

Ipswich, Massachusetts, located thirty miles north of Boston is a truly beautiful town. From sandy beaches to horse farms and Trustees of Reservation properties, Ipswich has miles of walking trails with breath taking vistas.  A day could be spent walking Crane Beach, paddling on the Ipswich River, walking at Appleton farms, picking apples at Russell Orchard or eating your pick of fried clams (Farnham's is our favorite- though some may also say The Clambox). Ipswich has more First Period homes than any other town and an active historical society eager to keep the history alive.  Whether you are a young family with children, or looking for a beautiful town to call home upon your retirement, Ipswich has something to offer everyone.  And perhaps what makes Ipswich most appealing, is the beautiful Orthodox Church situated on the top of the hill, overlooking the downtown.
